"Compiled at Alexandria under the direction of Major Bryce, Commanding Engineer. N.B. The Western Harbour having been found incorrectly laid down in the French Plan is here corrected." The names of officers responsible for map data complitation are given under the heading, "List of Authorities." Although no ownership label is present, this map is believed to have belonged to the Honourable Robert Clifford. Acquired by McMaster University in 1969 as part of the Lord Cholmondeley collection.
