Two Visual Scales [6= 3 Irish miles, 12 cm = 3 English miles]. Note appearing on the map: The impossibility of finding the true mearings of the Baronys; has obliged us to have recourse to Sr. Willm. Petty’s , Surveys. Insets: "A plan of the town of Newry" and "A plan of the city of Armagh" are very detailed, showing streets, fields, gardens and buildings. The inset map of Armagh has a reference chart to important buildings then standing as well as some major ruins. Acquired as part of the Cholmondely Collection.
