Described in Winearls, Mapping Upper Canada 1780-1867, entry 30 (2), p. 15: "Countries revised to those of 1798; districts now shown: Eastern, Johnstown, Midland, Newcastle, Home, Niagara, London, and Western; a few twps have been added; some county names misspelled, e.g., 'Lenox and Haddington'; the shoreline has been enhanced by the addition of linework."
